TAG Holly Jolly Holidays!

Favorite Christmas Movie?
My favourite christmas film is probably A Christmas story. Ever since I was little my family have watched it around christmas, I don't normally like old films but this is so funny. I usually watch this film just after finishing putting up the christmas decorations and then I probably watch it another 5-10 times before christmas :)

I also really love Deck the Halls :)

Are you on the Naughty list or the Nice list?

Hopefully nice :S I like to think I'm a nice person except for the occasional silly argument with family members

Show us an embarrassing Christmas Card photo!

I don't have any christmas card photos I just buy cards from shops :S

Have you ever had a White Christmas?

We had a lot of snow last christmas wich was unusual but it was amazing and the first year for a while that it has been a proper white christmas. The year before (christmas 2009) we had a bit of snow leading up to christmas but on christmas day the snow had just turned into ice and slush :/ I'm hoping that we will have another white christmas this year but I don't think that this country is ever properly prepared for snow and because it is so rare here people don't really know what to do when it does snow.

Where do you usually spend your holiday?

I usually spend my holiday/christmas at home with my family and in the morning we go and visit other family members and give them their presents.

Play or Sing your favorite Christmas Song!

I obviously can't do that but I don't really have a favourite, I just love christmas songs in general.

Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

I open all of my presents on christmas morning but on christmas eve after I have had a bath, I get a new pair of pyjamas and slippers :)

Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?

Erm...Rudolf.......Prancer,dancer...Donner/donna...Comet,Dasher and Blitzen. That's all I know, I don't even know how many there are. :/

What holiday tradition are you looking forward to most this year?

I love my family's christmas eve tradition. We get a big ham joint and it cooks all day so the lovely smell spreads throughout the house. Then at about 6 o'clock we have hot ham barmcakes (chunks of ham not sliced) and a buffet. I then get a bath (with christmassy lush products) and get out and put on my new pyjamas and watch all the christmas programmes. Although I am now 16, I still can't get to sleep on christmas eve and I still wake up at about 6 o'clock on christmas morning :D
Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

Fake. I find real trees to be too much hastle :)

Hands down, what's your all-time favorite holiday food and holiday sweet treat?

I don't have any favourite "holiday"  foods or sweet treats, I just like normal food and sweet treats. A holiday food that I hate though is Turkey, I find it dry and bland no matter who cooks it or where I get it from.

Be Honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?

Like most other people I love receiving gifts, however when you have put a lot of thought into somebody's present, I love giving it to them and seeing their reaction when they open it :)

Show us your tackiest Christmas attire

I don't have any :/

What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

America, particularly New York. I think they take the whole "Holiday Season" so much more seriously (don't think that's the right word but can't think of any other way to describe it) and I love the decorations that they have there. I also love their traditions.

Does your family have a special holiday recipe you like to help make?

Nope

Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?

I love wrapping presentd but i'm not that good at it. I also like presents to look good by using bows and ribbons :)

Most memorable Holiday moment?

Can't really think of any :/
What made you realize the truth about Santa?

I think it just started spreading around school so I kind of believed it but didn't really want to.

Do you make New Years Resolutions? Do you stick to them?

I usually make them but don't sick to them. They are usually all broke by the end of january (if they even make it that far)

What makes the Holidays special for you?

Watching christmas films, being cosy in the cold weather, snow and spending time with my family :)

Product rave :)

Helloo :)

A few weeks ago I was in Tesco and they had an offer on Treseme hair products so I picked up a few. Two of the things I got are the new split end protection leave in treatment and the frizz smoothing serum with argon oil. I apply both of these products to my hair when it's damp. When it's dry it is so soft and feels very healthy (which is rare for me as I like to straighten my hair). They are both amazing products and have left my hair in the best condition it has been for a long time, overall I highly recommend both of these products if you have quite dry hair.

Update

Helloo :)

Sorry for the lack of blog posts, but I have recently been really busy with school. Over the past few weeks I have had coursework to do as well as a french speaking exam, but now they're out the way I don't have any more exams until January :) I also tried adding a blogpost last week however the pictures weren't uploading properly. Hopefully, if the pictures will upload I will be able to get a few new posts up today.

What's in my bag?

Helloo everyone :)

These tags are very popular on youtube and I thought I could do a post on it to help me get into blogging.

The bag I'm currently using is from Next and it was around £30 they also sell it in a tan colour.

In one of the front pockets I keep my Velvet Vanilla lipbalm from Bodycare, a pack of Compeed blister patches and a pair of earphones.

This is a purse that i got a few monthes ago, it was about £4 and it's one of the nicest purses I've ever seen.
As its getting colder now I keep a pair of pink gloves in my bag. I got these in a pack of 2 in Primark for £1 the other pair are navy.

As the weather is so unpredictable here I always carry an umbrella with me. This one is from primark and was about £4.

I am now at the point where I am chosing college courses. One of the courses I'm interested in in philosophy & religion. This book "The Pig that wants to be eaten" by Julian Baggini has 100 thought experiments altogether and each story is argued against a philosophical point of view. I have only read the first few pages as I haven't had much time and it is very interesting (as well as a little confusing) but I like to carry it around with me in case I do have some spare time.

Here are my keys, I have a pink eiffel tower keyring from when I went to Paris with school in 2009, a pen drive, a David and Golliath keyring with a mirror on the other side that I got from my suster earlier this year and one of her tesco clubcard keyrings.

Thanks for reading
